So this lady in West Virginia was out shopping at her local Old Navy and then the nightmare began. She ran to the police talking about how a man – a brown man – of “Middle Eastern descent” – had tried to abduct her precious baby girl! Scary! Police snapped into action and arrested the man, who was an Egyptian guy also hopping at Old Navy – or was he?
She was hailed online as a brave mom and NRA Russian money laundering spokeswoman Dana Loesch explained that this is why we all need guns.
Adams admitted “the more she thought about it, the more she realized it might have been a cultural misunderstanding and the suspect might have just been patting her daughter on the head and smiling,” police wrote in an update that was posted to Facebook that day.
Oh, yeah, and the head-patting thing? Didn’t happen.
There was a cultural misunderstanding here – an Egyptian man crossed paths with a racist liar and those cultures don’t mix well. Then the police thought some big deep thoughts and went on to say that you know, it’s that darn social media that did it to her. Because social media definitely can turn a clear thinking, honest non-racist into a nutjob sees a Middle Eastern guy and decides the best thing she can do is accuse him of trying to kidnap her daughter, despite having no interaction with her. Can’t be too careful, I guess.
On the positive side, she’s been charged with filing a false report.
Weirdly enough, the people insisting that Jussie Smollett needs to be drawn and quartered have been quiet on this one. And no further comment from Dana Loesch. Could she also be a lying, racist, asshole? Just kidding. We know the answer to that.
